Kimi
Kimi is the Moonshot API Chat engine, in Chat - /chat?engine=kimi.

What it does
Section titled “What it does”Chats against the Moonshot API using the K2 models with 256k context, shows visible thinking traces, and offers built-in web search. It has the shared Chat / History / Workspace tabs and a Settings panel, keeps local history, and lets you cap max tokens.

Requires a Moonshot API key. Set KIMI_API_KEY in .env.local (get one from platform.moonshot.ai/console), then restart the server. The same key also enables the Kimi global model and P-Forge research.
- K2 models only accept
temperature: 1; the app already handles this, so an “invalid temperature” error should not appear. - Kimi can also be selected as the global model in the top bar.
