OmniRoute
OmniRoute is the Chat engine over OmniRoute, an OpenAI-compatible gateway that
fronts a large catalogue of models and its own auto/* combos that pick a model
for you, in Chat - /chat?engine=omniroute.

What it does
Section titled “What it does”Lists every model the gateway advertises (a search box filters the often long list), or leaves it on auto so the gateway chooses. The status line shows how many models are live, or offline when the gateway or key is missing; Re-check re-tests it. OmniRoute closes the Agents group of the fleet - it routes to models rather than being one - so it sits next to PROVIDERS, not among the vendors.
OmniRoute is a fork of 9router running as its own service on :20128; M.A.V.E.N’s
autostart installer registers its systemd unit. Set OMNIROUTE_API_KEY in Settings →
Secrets (and OMNIROUTE_BASE if you self-host elsewhere), then Re-check. The
gateway’s own dashboard cannot be embedded; open it in its own tab.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”- Pick OmniRoute in the engine row.
- Choose a model or an
auto/*combo. - Send; Stop aborts a slow reply.
- OmniRoute is a provider, separate from M.A.V.E.N’s own model routing (Settings → Model routing); this engine talks to it directly.
auto/*combos are handy when you do not care which model answers, only that it is a good one.- It is reachable in M.A.V.E.N but deliberately absent from M.A.V.E.N Teams’ Chat, where a router in the engine list would make “which model am I talking to” ambiguous.
